1. Why do people who clearly don’t know Ruby/Rails so often decide to use Ruby or Rails in their name? 2. Could this be unix.girl?

Arid, Extra DRY
ruxpin: how can I set the schema_migrations table name?
ruxpin: I have two rails applications using the same database
rsl: and yr using migrations in both?
ruxpin: yes
rsl: quel desastre!
ruxpin: why?
ruxpin: atm all of the migrations are in the main app
rsl: i'd personally keep them all in one app and have the other a "slave" as far as migrations.
ruxpin: but it gets quite problematic when you don't want the 2nd app on some servers
rsl: like i said... quel desastre!
rsl: but it sure is DRY.

Asshat
barghat: is it possible to search the bugs on lighthouse without a lighthouse account?
barghat: (quite includistic != open source i think)
barghat: same with google groups
rsl: barghat: i think yr mistaken on what open source means.
barghat: rsl i know the definition. but thats not the 'mentality'
barghat: you force me to get a google/lighthouse account, or stay away
rsl: 1. lighthouse isn't open source. 2. open source != no login. 3. i can't imagine there's really no way to do this. 4. if yr not willing to sign up to lighthouse to contribute back to rails, it's kinda a moot point.
rsl: 5. leethal will eat you.
leethal: mouf
barghat: yeah. i want to contribute to rails. but i don't want to support a commercial company i don't like with this
rsl: barghat: dude... you can sign up to lighthouse as a user for free.
blj: barghat: stop complaining and do it, it is free
barghat: stupid fuckers
rsl: i hope you just didn't know that.
barghat: 'free' is not enough
rsl: jesus fucking christ.
barghat left the chat room. ("leaving")
rsl: asshat
